liljan98 | Origin
liljan means "(the) lily" in Swedish. According to many sources my rather ordinary real name is derived from the hebrew word for lily. In 1997/1998 I spent my semester abroad in Stockholm, where I started to get into this whole "internet thing" and was in need of a suitable nickname. I have used that one ever since...Outlander Chronicles 2013

Just a Few Hockey Photos
When I checked the photos I took at the Cologne Sharks’ season farewell party, I realized there were still photos on it from the hockey game in Hamburg in March. Neither set of photos are any special, but I wanted … Continue reading
Fun Packed Weekend
Before I’m even more busy or exhausted (or both) on the next few nights I’ll use that change to write about the fun-packed weekend. On Saturday I met friends for an early dinner and then we went to see The … Continue reading

Sunday Thoughts…
I was supposed to be at an “International Women’s Day” event this afternoon. But there seems to be cold heading my way so I decided to skip this event and stay inside. I can’t borrow Bro3′s car today so I’d … Continue reading
I'm in shock and at loss for words…
I had almost finished a 100% trivial Miscelleneous post, when I read some terrible news in hai_dis journal. I checked a few other sites, because I didn’t wanted to believe it, but it’s true. It has now turned out that … Continue reading
Sometimes It's Hard To Be a Hockey Fan
I think I might be a masochist. The music shuffle mode of my mobile phone played the unplugged version of the Toten Hosen song “Auswärtspiel” for me this afternoon. I always liked that song and the message of it. That … Continue reading
Happy Hockey Moments…

The weather and hockey are depressing…
During the last couple of days (at the Baltic Sea) we had great sunny weather. And so we did yesterday, which made watching a hockey game kind of weird, because it didn’t feel like icehockey weather. This morning I had … Continue reading

Hockey is back… (Finally!)
I came home from our meeting earlier than usual so I’m able to write about the hockey season premiere events already tonight. There isn’t that much to write about, but I’ll try nonetheless. Last Sunday Hai_di, cologne_chick and I attended … Continue reading

WTF is Lanxess ?!?!?
In the last few years a lot of sport arenas (football, hockey) got a new name, because some sponsor paid a lot of money for it. There is the Allianz Arena in Munic, the Signal-Iduna-Park in Dortmund, the AOL Arena … Continue reading
Cologne Sharks lost the final series :-(
It’s a sad, sad day today. Berlin won the fourth game and thus won the series with 3:1. In Cologne in our home arena. It’s bitter to lose the finals but to lose it at a home game and to … Continue reading
