liljan98 | Origin
liljan means "(the) lily" in Swedish. According to many sources my rather ordinary real name is derived from the hebrew word for lily. In 1997/1998 I spent my semester abroad in Stockholm, where I started to get into this whole "internet thing" and was in need of a suitable nickname. I have used that one ever since...Outlander Chronicles 2013

Mug Shot #08 & The Oscars…
I’ll be trying to watch the Oscars tonight and although I felt well rested this morning and relaxed and awake all day, by now exhaustion is creeping in. And the show won’t start for another two hours *yawn*. Last year … Continue reading
Hello From Beautiful Nova Scotia
The first week of our vacation is already over, so it’s about time I’ll check in here. I’ve been online almost every evening for a few minutes, but mostly just to read my mails, check the weather forecasts and some … Continue reading
Donna Moss, Citizien of Canada :-)
I love the Canadian National Anthem. And I love Canada. For that reason I was really touched at the end of the West Wing episode 3.16. It was such a great idea to have “Oh Canada” played during Abbey’s birthday … Continue reading
Miscellaneous, 2009/01/04
It looks like the Cologne Sharks won’t even make it to the pre-playoffs (10th in the standing). Theoretically there still is a chance, but it’s highly unlikely. Right now I don’t even care that much, which is strange. I guess … Continue reading
Surprise present from Bro3
When I talked with Bro3 on the phone this morning he said “I’ve got a present for you”. I hate it, when people say that and don’t tell me right away what kind of present that is. Yes, I know … Continue reading
I am SOOOO stupid! I Lost My Canada Scarf!
I never missed the unlimited internet access at work more than today. I had to get this off my chest and put it down on paper (well in bits and bytes) but knew I couldn’t post it until I got … Continue reading
It's Difficult To Not Be Complaining…
This morning I was sure that today’s post could only be a really whiny one. And I’m still in mostly a whiny mood, but I should start with some good news after all: The meds already show some effect. My … Continue reading
Blog negligence
I’m afraid my blog suffers from a bout of depression. It feels neglected and rightfully so. The weird thing is, that I’ve got things I want to write about like I always did. Probably not the most significant topics, as … Continue reading

My trip to Canada – Part III: Hockey
I didn’t take that many pictures during the games. More exactly I took close to none pictures. Hai_di already had her camera ready before I did and she’s the better photographer anyway. So this post will contain only a few … Continue reading

My trip to Canada – Part II: Sightseeing
This will be a shorter post, I promise. A large collection of photos (and the photos in higher resolution) can be found here. I will just pick out a few of my favorites now. Our first stop in Toronto was … Continue reading
